Sleeping Beauty

After 3 1/2 hours of putting her back to bed, Isabella finally feel asleep in her big girl bed. I was so excited to finally have her asleep, I just had to take a photo. :)

Lauren is 6!

Lauren had a birthday, shout hooray!

Another year has gone by...time goes fast looking back.
SIX things that Lauren loves...

1. Lauren is a very kind, sweet sister. She loves her brother and little sister!

2. Lauren loves her violin teacher and she is
even starting to like violin. :)

3. Lauren loves to be outside. She loves to ride her bike, swing on the swings, do the monkey bars, play tag, run with dad, take Bob for walks, play in the snow, and the list could go on forever.

4. Lauren loves her Aunt Heidi! She spends all the time she can with her. They are the greatest of friends. What would
Lauren (or I) do without Heidi!

5. Lauren loves to play with her many friends. She tries to set up play dates with everyone she meets.

6. Lauren loves to swim. If we had a pool in our back yard, she would be the happiest girl in the world.

I love you Lauren! You are an amazing little girl with an old spirit. I am so glad you are part of our family!

Friend or Foe?

As Isabella was being picked up from pre-school, this is what was over heard before Isabella was allowed to leave..."No hitting Maya." (insert dramatic pause) "No pushing Maya." (insert dramatic pause) "No pulling Maya's hair." (insert dramatic pause) "No biting Maya." (insert dramatic pause) "No pinching Maya." (insert dramatic pause) "Maya is your friend. Be nice." The teacher is so patient with her. And Isabella response was a very sorry "okay." They really are great friends. Bella asks for Maya often and they already like to talk on the phone. They generally play well together...at least lately. My gut feeling is that Maya finally fought back, so Isabella is being nicer. :) Way to stand up to your friend, Maya! I really do love to see them playing and laughing together.

Violin Buddies

These two are the sillies violinist around! They love each other! Lauren was able to play few pieces at Libby Gardner Hall last month for a fund raiser. That place is amazing and such an honor to have her play there. You are doing great, Lauren!
